Floating layout option

Solution Layout options define the content and format of the properties that can be displayed in an activity or customized activity only.

To select the properties that you want to display in the activity just right-click and select Layout. In the Layout dialog box you will be able to choose the properties to display and the format that you want them to be displayed as.

Once you're happy with your selection, click OK. When you click on the properties icon the properties will display in the activity icon. You can drag these details out and have them displayed with a link to the activity.

To drag the layout box out so that it appears separate from the activity:
1. Ensure properties are displayed for the activity
2. Deselect the activity
3. Now drag the layout section of the activity out
4. You can now place the layout information separately in the model

The layout dialog box is displayed with a link to the activity that it comes from.

Uses:
To show parent activities / business processes
Display goals associated with a particular activity
