How do the different ProVision products relate to each other?

Solution         EnterprisePro is the flagship product. It contains all the functions needed to create the full range of ProVision models. ProcessPro is an entry level product--it is identical to EnterprisePro in all aspects except that it only allows you to create the 4 most fundamental types of models needed for Business Process projects.

AnalyzerPlus, Teamworks, and xTender are modules, or extra features, which may be enabled by purchasing an extra license. No additional software needs to be installed. You simply purchase and insert additional codes into the ProVision license file to enable the features on your copy of ProVision.

DataExchange is a family of modules, each of which enables input, output or both between ProVision and another popular software environment. With version 4.4 there are approximately 8 separate interface modules available. To enable an exchange module you will need to purchase a code, and you may need to install an executable file in your ProVision folder. The exchange modules are not built into the main executable.

WebVision and ProServer are both server products.

WebVision serves webpages that display models from a specified repository. In this regard, WebVision is similar to HTML publishing in Provision, except the published views are always current and generated automatically as needed.
WebVision pages may be requested and viewed from any recent version of InternetExplorer browser.

ProServer serves model "notebooks" to ProVision. If you use ProServer, then your copy of ProVision becomes a client, requesting its data from a URL. Previous to version 4.4, ProVision could only access data stored in files available locally, or from a database management system, using a special adapter. ProServer eliminates the need for a separate database adapters. A single ProServer server could enable the sharing of enterprise data between many ProVision users across multiple sites.
